Name: Sebastian
Gender: Male
Birthday: July 1, 2019
Ready to see the cat with a head as big as your hand? Meet Sebastian! He was just recently trapped and neutered, and it shows! The testosterone in his body for so many years gave him a HUGE head and he basically doesn't have a neck. Despite his gigantic size and bruiser appearance, this boy is a teddy bear. In fact, in the colony where he was found, he was the one getting bullied by other males significantly smaller than him! Sebastian is a LOVER. He wants nothing more than for you to pet his giant head and scratch his non-existent neck area and big muscular shoulders. Prepare for him to hiss and swat the first day or so when you get him home. He is easily scared by new places and people. I assume not every person he met was nice to him. He just needs to know you are a friend and your home is safe.
Sebastian is considered special needs because he tested positive for FIV. This virus is only spread through bites so there is no risk to other cats in the home as long as a slow introduction is done. FIV cannot be spread to humans. Because Murphy has a lowered immune system, if he ever gets a kitty cold, it could be life threatening to him, so he should get to a vet immediately. There are immune boosting supplements that help prevent kitty colds, but in general, it is rare for indoor only cats to get sick. Most FIV cats live very long normal lives with proper care.
