Ken was born in 2023 and was adopted as a kitten. After having him for 2 years, the adopter decided he did not want him any more and took him to a kill shelter. Our contract does say that if you cannot keep the cat for any reason, you must return the cat to Feral Cat Rescue. Clearly this former adopter is not someone I would want to know. Fortunately for Ken, we microchip our cats and the shelter called me and I went to get him and he has been living with me ever since that day. He was terrified at first. It took him a long time to trust me but he does now. I can walk over to him and pet him. My lap is usually full with cats so he has not come to sit on my lap. I am hoping someone will foster to adopt him and be patient with him and I bet he will turn out to be very sweet. Would you consider giving this boy a chance?
